sickening
I have been on a waiting list since 2009. Victem of violent crime lost everything I owned to save my life ..I attained a voucher last year because the people on my case didn't know at to tell me my allowance was and took my application papers and said they'd call me to confirm my allowance , it took a month n half before I started to stress and went there to find out they couldn't even find my dam file and when it was found I had one month or even less to find a place I did and it was down to a short deadline . and the person that told me yah its a go just waiting on inspection rented the plce and didn't tell me until my voucher expired overnight . talk about people that must hate they're job to public to help people in the situation for housing .,iv never been so horribly treated by acbc housing .it was all good till they screwed it up .then they became completely ignorant and right down rude ..and now a lottery . how is that fare .I go back on waiting list and have to go to lottery .and my name of course out of 50 known people that have no income ,bad credit and many etc bullshot things that will never get them housing I wasn't picked .if thus isn't the mist bullshit iv ever known of I don't know what is . .I am ashamed of the people that run this clown operation lazy ass employees with little if any cooth or care in world wat you been through . people know that you better have down deposit good credit and a lot more before wasting the opportunity for others that do have it .and been on list for years . its not a free opportunity .it's serious and you need to know that a voucher is almost impossible to be filled after 1000s are drawn very few of them will be actually used or qualified for a rental .truth

Shabby Public Housing
Maintenance is horrendous, communications are difficult because of favoritism and an inept administration, and stress levels are unforgivably high for residents. On the plus side some locations are nice. Also doing business with a car dealership would be worse. Maybe the staff would be better if the pay-scale was a little higher with more employees, especially in maintenance.
