About the OwnerBen Fields started working in a local locksmith shop as an apprentice to a former police officer and master locksmith in May of 1995. He was quickly elevated to outside service technician within just a few months by demonstrating his strong work ethic and excellent mechanical aptitude. He spent 5 years studying on the job during which time he reached journeyman locksmith status. After working in locksmith supply sales, Ben worked for 6 months in a locksmith shop in Switzerland where he further expanded his knowledge and skills of the trade. In 2003, Ben was contracted for his locksmith skills to maintain and repair the detention hardware at Santa Rita Jail in Alameda County, California. He passed an extensive background check and passed the county locksmith exam with a score of 100%. In 2004, Ben decided to open BA Locksmith to service the lock and security needs of the San Francisco bay area. With over 20 years of experience, he guarantees customer satisfaction by getting the job done right the first time and at a fair price.
